Founded in the fall of 1990, the Children's Chorus of Sussex County has provided an opportunity for children who reside in northwest New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania to join together in the choral art. CCSC is comprised of four choir levels and welcomes young people from kindergarten through high school. Known for their dedication, teamwork, and artistic excellence, the children pursue an ambitious schedule. In addition to local concerts, they have performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, The White House, Prague's Smetana Hall, the Candelaria Church in Rio de Janeiro, and the Vatican. In July, 2011, the Concert Choir traveled to The Netherlands, Belgium and France. We performed for the July 4th Celebration at the American Embassy in Brussels, the American Cemetary at Omaha Beach and other amazing venues throughout the region. In July, 2014, we were invited to the International Choral Kathaumixw in British Columbia, where we first performed in 2004. In July, 2015, based on a performance at Carnegie Hall, we were recruited for the Festival of the Aegaen, making for a memorable two-week trip to Athens and the Greek Islands. We returned to Carnegie Hall for another performance in January, 2017. We welcome you to look through our website and check our upcoming schedule - we want to sing for you!
