A variety of fundraising opportunities is offered each year and while participation is voluntary, it is strongly encouraged.
Our perennial fundraising efforts enhance the musical experience with the beauty of flowers. These flowers come from Sussex County’s top growers and are second to none! The choices include mums in late August/early September, poinsettias sold in mid-November for an early December delivery, and in the spring, there are bedding plants, hanging baskets, and designer planters that arrive before Mother’s Day. Proceeds from these sales help our choristers pay for uniforms and trips.
Over the years, we have added some other fundraising options, and we are always open to suggestions. Some are earmarked for the choristers, and others benefit the organization. We sell ads for our two annual concert programs every year, and are grateful to the companies and individuals who purchase them. From time to time, local merchants support our cause by donating a portion of an evening’s proceeds to our general fund. Some years, we run a chorus-wide yard sale on a Saturday in the fall.
